APPLIED MICROLOCAL ANALYSIS — applications in imaging
Description: This course introduces microlocal analysis and provides a broad treatment of the basic techniques, including the calculus of Fourier integral operators. The goal is to provide coverage of the fundamentals of microlocal analysis, and how microlocal analysis arises in PDEs and is applied to imaging. Examples that will be covered are based on the geodesic ray transform and the generalized Radon transform. Also, connections with applied harmonic analysis will be presented.
